It took “Baikal Discovery” almost half a year to develop and fulfill the program of stay in Irkutsk and Baikal area for the exclusive passenger flight, organized by the world leader in private jet travel–TCS expeditions (USA). The 18-days tour program included visits not only to the country of Russia, but Mongolia, Armenia and Iceland. Four of these 18 days the tourists spent in Irkutsk and on Lake Baikal. They were offered a saturating program including both traditional visits to city’s most atmospheric sights and principally new arrangements.
So at the end of these three days spent in Irkutsk the tourists became the participants of a Gala Party which received the name of “People-to-People Diplomacy Dinner”, the main idea of which was that the tourists could not only enjoy the traditional Siberian delicacies but meet with representatives of different public layers. During visit to Lake Baikal the tourists had an opportunity to hydrofoil to the old Circum Baikal Railroad with picnic of classical and specific Baikal cuisine near the famous “Italian Wall”. Another highlight of this day was shamanistic journey to the other world (shamanistic healing) near the Shaman stone at the source of the Angara River, perfomed by Valentin-Shaman which was proceeded by a conversation and a shamanistic singing during a mini-cruise on the lake. Also the “Nomads of the North” undertook a fabulous journey by a charted business-class train along the Old Round-Baikal Railway – the feast and great monument of engineer’s design, had spend great time at the Burduguz Siberian Retreat Lodge with lots of folkloric entertainment, as well as visited the autonomous National district of Buryats and more. Though the average age of “the Nomads” was over 60, the pax enjoyed their stay with “Baikal discovery”. |
